Role Description
The Finance Manager will oversee the financial health of multiple companies within our portfolio. You’ll manage day‑to‑day financial operations, lead a small team of staff accountants and AP/AR specialists, and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. We’re seeking someone strategic and hands‑on—able to guide the finance team while diving into details when needed. You’ll help implement scalable finance systems, support audits, oversee month‑end close, and ensure financial discipline across all business units. Our fractional CFO will partner with you on high‑level financial strategy.
Key Responsibilities/Objectives
- Team building & management
- Lead, manage, & hold the financial team accountable to processes in place for each company under management & own hiring new talent as needed.
- Be the subject matter expert for financial processes, financial measurement & management systems for the team.
- Ensure across all companies the team executes payments timely from insurance updates, tax payments, payroll, rent payments etc.
- Standardize all financial processes & trainings
- Ensure each company’s financial processes are standardized across the board to create the highest efficiency possible.
- Consistently review, update, & train the finance team to new processes as they change.
- When new company acquisitions are in process, building out the new processes & transitions plans for their finance departments to ensure a smooth transition.
- Monitor & analyze cash flow, budgets & key financial KPIs
- Create key reporting systems for cashflow management, budget processes, & financial kpis to allow each company to have clear concise financial data to make strategic decisions from.
- Execute the strategies created from our fractional CFO across our companies.
- Manage month-end close & audit preparations
- Take full accountability for accuracy of all reporting across the companies you oversee & timely month end closings.

Gotta Have:
- Degree in Accounting (GAAP focus).
- 5–10 years’ experience in organizational finance roles.
- Proven track record successfully managing finance teams
- Experience building financial best‑practice processes from scratch & rolling them out across a company
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in home services, manufacturing, or real estate sectors.
Experience with mergers & acquisitions.
Compensation range for the role will range from R600,000 – R850,000 per year depending on experience
